Information for difficult times


Sunday at 10:30, we will be live streaming an act of worship on YouTube. This will be available to watch later on our YouTube channel and website. YouTube

Monday to Saturday, 12 noon to 1pm

St John’s is now open for private prayer ONLY, from 12 noon till 1pm Monday to Saturday.

This is being done in accordance with the guidance of the Church of England, and the Government. Social distancing must be observed and please do not use the cordoned off areas.


We currently live-stream a service at 10.30am every Sunday, after which a recording of it will appear on the church website. This can be found at or at

Midweek Groups:

Whilst ‘live’ midweek and Sunday groups are suspended for the time being, various groups are still meeting via Zoom or in other imaginative ways. These include our youth (on a Friday evening), our fellowship groups (on Tuesdays or Wednesdays) and our monthly parish prayer meeting (zoom on the 1st Wednesday of the month. Contact us if you would like to take part)). Footprints parent and toddler group also have some on-line sessions to take part in.

Please do make good use of our Website and Facebook page, where you will find information, activity resources, Sixes and Sevens newsletter, recorded sermons, etc.

Pastoral Care:

If you have any need for pastoral care, a request for prayer, or if you have any questions, you can contact the church office on 01935 427745, or via email, see the contact us page for details. We will ensure that you are put in touch with the right person. We also encourage you to pray with each other by phone.
