Everyday Heroes

Online holiday club for 2020

Join us online from 20th to 24th July for our holiday club Everyday Heroes

Each day from 10am you can experience our normal mix of fun activities from the comfort of your home. There will be puppets, singing, silly games, exercise, jokes, and much more. It will last about 30 to 45 minutes each day. Everyday Heroes will be streamed on YouTube, and viewable on this page.

Participation and Consent

During the Everyday Heroes holiday club we would really like to encourage participation by the children watching. So do encourage them to send us any of their drawings, jokes and prayers, which have been inspired by the daily livestream. These should be sent to the following email; holidayclub@sjyeovil.org.uk along with their first name, which will be the only information we will share with their contribution.

If your child would like to send in a photograph of themselves dressed up in a superhero costume, or any hero costume, please also complete and send us a parental consent form (see below, where we have the form in both a doc and a pdf format. The photos will then be added to the following day’s livestream.

Reporting Concerns or Abuse

We take the safeguarding of children and adults with vulnerability very seriously at St John’s and St Andrew’s, so if you have any concerns, our safeguarding officer, Ros Bush, is the person to contact. Ros can be contacted on 01935 479549. Information is also available on the Diocesan website.
